- Willingness and ability to learn – I taught myself how to use WordPress, cPanel and GIMP, and ensure my continual CPD by completing online courses.

Voluntary Experience:
- Salvation Army Volunteer in Malaysia, 2001 – 2002 – I spent 6 months volunteering at an old people’s home in Malaysia. Helping residents with activities, helping with cleaning and cooking, taking residents to appointments and on trips out.
I also learnt some basic Malay and Cantonese to communicate more effectively with the residents. - Salvation Army Volunteer in Malaysia, 2007 – Having previously completed a gap year volunteering for the Salvation Army at an old people’s home in Malaysia, I returned for 2 months to volunteer with them again. I helped out at the old people’s homes, and the children’s home both in Ipoh, Malaysia
Hobbies and Interests:
- In my spare time, I enjoy cooking – I like to find new recipes to try and then adapt them; sometimes successfully, sometimes not!
- I also enjoy photography – I’m no professional but I enjoy taking photos and exploring different angles and lighting, and then editing photos to give a new perspective.
